Requests often come in for hand-forged bases for cabinets, toolboxes, blanket chests, old pieces of granite or marble, or other items being turned into new end/coffee/patio tables. The only limit is our collective imagination. A computer desk from the days of the original PC when everything had a massive footprint has been given a new life with a pair of attached shelves. Woodworkers commission the hardware for their special creations. We have even fabricated broken or missing parts for old furniture, returning it to normal daily use and preserving the old piece for posterity. Another major area is window treatments. We often get requests for special or problem windows to create the rods, brackets, rings, and finials.
